DONKEY

And yes his name is really Donkey!  Donkey is the protector of the Barnyard and quietly runs a tight ship.  Donkey's favorite thing to do is EAT.  He is best friends with Lucy Goosey and Tater the Pony.  He has taken a liking to Tiny the Sheep as well.   While Donkey is the barnyard proector, he also thinks he is a lap cat.  If you sit in the Barnyard he will try his best to sit with you!

TINY

TINY the sheep was born in 2020.   Tiny had a rough start and has some special needs but she is super sweet. Tiny was born in a puddle and abandoned by her mother. Aunt Janie (heart of gold) decided to save Tiny and let her live in her kitchen and bottle fed her  until she was strong enough to be outside. Aunt Janie then convinced me that Tiny needed to move to our barnyard so all the kids could love her forever. She loves to be loved and makes friends with EVERYONE that comes into the Barnyard.  She is a licker too so watch yourself :)

MINI

MINI came to the Barnyard in the Spring of 2022 from the same family farm Tiny came from.  She quickly became best friends with Tiny and the two have been inseparable ever since.  Tiny, Mini and Snowball all get sheared once a year in the Spring to keep them looking beautiful.

BRUISER

BRUISER was born in 2010 and is a Barnyard original!  He has been a great barnyard animal to have and gets along well with all 4 legged and 2 legged friends.  Sadly his brother Cruiser passed away in 2021 but we hope to have Bruiser for a few more years as he has always been a friend to everyone.

TURBO

TURBO was born in 2011 and came to the Barnyard as a duo with Diesel the Goat.   TURBO has been a bully from day one BUT he is also one of 2 goats that does tricks so we love him for that!  Turbo was the King of the Barnyard until Donkey came but he is now second in command and takes that position very seriously.

DIESEL

DIESEL joined the barnard in 2011 along with Turbo.  Diesel is the nicest, sweetest goat ever and thinks he is a dog instead of a goat.  Diesel is a very quiet goat and gets along well with everyone.   He is always on his best behavior in the barnyard and we can't say that for all the goats!

WILLOW

WILLOW We got Willow from a farm in Lancaster in 2018. She was the cutest pig and we used to walk her with a harness and leash until she outgrew it.  Willow is super smart and we were able to teach her tricks fairly quickly. While we thought another pig was a great idea, Willow wasn't thrilled about the idea of a little sister (Daisy!) Willow prefers to be admired from afar and only prefers a few select people. She is the cranky old lady of the barnyard!

DAISY

DAISY joined the barnyard in 2023.  She has the sweetest disposition and LOVES to have her belly rubbed.  Daisy spent her first few months living in the farmhouse before moving to the barnyard where she has soooo many friends.  She is still trying to convince Willow that having a little sister is fun.

LUCY

LUCY the Goosey.  She is by far the loudest barnyard animal ever!  She loves DONKEY and the two are never very far from each other.  She lays eggs for about 20 weeks every spring and they are HUGE!  We aren't sure how old she is but she has lived in the barnyard for about 6 years.  Lucy only has vision in one of her eyes but that doesn't stop her from living her best life.  She spends most days swimming in her kiddie pool...even though there is a pond right outside the fence!

SNOWBALL

SNOWBALL Snowball arrived at the Barnyard in 2017. He was a gift from Aunt Janie and Uncle Don and was the cutest little white sheep. He has grown into a HUGE sheep and he is very LOUD! At feeding time he is one of the loudest and most impatient animals in the Barnyard. If you pet Snowball just under the chin he will wag his tail - every, single time! While Snowball really doesn't look like a snowball anymore the name is here to stay  The sheep in the barnyard are sheared every Spring.

SAMMY Jr.

SAMMY JR. the Bunny was born in 2022 and joined the Barnyard in 2022 after the passing of our beloved Jellybean.  Sammy was a little bit feisty when we first got him but he has become more calm as he has gotten older.  Sammy likes to be pet and held.  Sammy is a mixed breed bunny.

TWIX

TWIX is a Lion Lops Bunny and was born in 2023.  He joined the barnyard just in time for the Spring events that year!  TWIX...aka the problem child!! This little guy is a little over a year old and I can safely say he has left his mark. This ADORABLE little bunny has eaten 3 microphones and countless shirts and sweatshirts in that year (sorry farm camp staffers). He LOVES to be pet but hates to be picked up. The cutest and fluffiest little thing but soooo much attitude.

OLIVIA

OLIVIA was born in 2019.  She is a Springer Spaniel and is the official greeter at the farm.  She LOVES her people and LOVES her snacks.  She is such a good girl and loves EVERYONE but especially all the kids.  She is a fan favorite at Farm Camp and doesn't ever miss a day!  Her best friends at the farm are the cats.  She is still working on finding her love for chickens :)

GILBERT

GILBERT joined the Barnyard in 2018.  Gilbert loves to be everywhere he shouldn't.  He is always looking for some kind of trouble to get into.  Gilbert and Snowball are usually seen hanging out together in the Barnyard.

GINGER

GINGER was new to the Barnyard in 2022 and quickly became a celebrity.  Ginger thinks she is a dog and spends more time out of the fence than in the fence.  She enjoys long walks as well as Kubota and pickup rides.   She LOVES people and always figures out a way to escape through the fence to be with her people and her best friend Olivia the dog.

BUTTONS

BUTTONS  is Ginger's twin brother. Buttons is all about the sliding board. A few leaves from the tree and he will go down the slide as many times as you ask him too! Buttons also joined the Barnyard in 2022 and has been living his best life ever since  Buttons is a sweet goat and is a friend to everyone in the barnyard. He can often be found sitting in the hay tub making sure everyone else doesn't make a pig of themselves.

OREO, COCOA & PEANUT

COCOA, OREO and PEANUT all joined the barnyard for Farm Camp in 2022.  Cocoa (all brown with little bit of white) and Oreo (brown with big white markings) are very sweet and love to be pet.  They both have wattles which are hair covered appendages of flesh that hang from the throat area.  They are the only goats in the barnyard with wattles.  Peanut (light brown like Peanut Butter) is the crazy one of the bunch can often be seen riding donkey!

CATS

THE CATS!!!

7 cats (WOW!) in total live in the Barnyard!  Batcat & Maddie are the 2 older cats that are only usually out in the early morning hours.  The remainder of the day they spend napping.  4 NEW Kittens joined the Barnyard in 2022.   Charlotte, Callie, Chase and Gray  spend most of their time in the new barn or in one of the trees in the Barnyard.  They were a fan favorite at Farm Camp 2022 and we hope they continue to be super friendly.  Porch Kitty showed up at the farm in 2022 and made herself a home in the barnyard and is apparently staying forever.

CHICKENS

Farm Camp 2024 brought the thrill of hatching 9 chickens in an incubator.  It was amazing to watch them grow so quickly.  We tried to have them be free range chickens but Mr. Fox found his way to them.  3 chickens remain and they happily live in their brand new coop where they stay safe.  We are still waiting on them to lay their first eggs.....

ROOSTER

ROOSTER was born in 2024 and brought to the Barnyard with several hens.  The hens lived a short life (the Fox has been a REAL problem) but ROOSTER has survived! He is huge and beautiful and so far he has been very friendly. (fingers crossed) Come check him out!

GEESE

4 Goslings were purchased for Farm Camp 2023 so Lucy would have friends and to help keep the chickens safe.  The Geese are so loud and they definitely try to keep everyone out of the barnyard.  They have failed at keeping the chickens safe BUT they have been amazing friends to  Lucy Goosey.  If you want to test your running skills ask us to let the geese out :)

TATER

Tater arrived at the Barnyard in the Spring of 2024. We don't know much about his past but we think he is 3 or 4 years old. Tater immediately fit in with everyone in the Barnyard but he took a particular liking to Donkey and the pair have been inseparable ever since. Tater shed out his winter coat that he arrived with and he is beautiful now!! (minus the bad haircut we gave him). It was hard to get a good pic of him because he is ALWAYS eating.

NALA

Nala was a 2022 Farm Camp Kitten. Nala decided pretty early on that barn life was not for her. She moved herself into the office as a kitten and slowly made her way to the doggie door of the farm house. She loves her humans and her dog but could take or leave other cats on the farm. She is an amazing hunter and has brought many of her "friends" into the house...some dead...some alive

MARIAH

Mariah and her sister Whitney were the Farm Camp Kittens of 2024 and they were definitely the highlight for many of our campers. Whitney found an amazing home with our friend Jackie and Mariah will be staying here on the farm. Mariah loves everyone and wants everyone to love her too! She is an explorer and always looking for some kind of trouble
